Description	:	ROBINSON, GLEN—Glen Robinson, son of Robert and Lucy Huffine Robinson, was born February 13, 1902, near Shickley. He passed away at his home, October 6, 1977, at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 23 days. His early years were spent on the farm near Shickley and Ong. Read More	ROBINSON, GLEN—Glen Robinson, son of Robert and Lucy Huffine Robinson, was born February 13, 1902, near Shickley. He passed away at his home, October 6, 1977, at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 23 days. His early years were spent on the farm near Shickley and Ong. On January 25, 1926, he was united in marriage to Helen Weleman of Clay Center and to this union were born one son and two daughters. After their marriage they lived on a farm near Sutton and Ong, and in 1950, they moved to a farm near Geneva, where they farmed until moving to town in 1972. In 1954 Glen became a member of the United Methodist church in Geneva. Glen was a kind and loving father and loved his grandchildren. He was fond of the out-of-doors and loved sports of all kinds and always was willing to give a helping hand. Those preceding him in death were his parents; one son, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Nemie of Thousand Oaks, Cal., and Mrs. Shirley Walker of Geneva; two sons-in-law, seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Farmer & son funeral home in Geneva on Monday, October 10, 1977, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jay funk of the United Methodist church officiating. Pallbearers were Lewis Kelch, Don Battle, John Brooke, Derrel Hutchens, Lawrence Ebbeka and Robert Nunns. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal 13 October 1977 page 5.
