Mr. Thrush worked for Koneta Rubber for 45 yrs. where he worked in management. He was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, and the American Legion Post #330. A member of St. Johns Fire Department where he was an EMT, Assistant Fire Chief, and a Fire Chief for 4yrs. He also a member of the Arson Fire Investigation Association. He enjoyed shooting, woodworking, golf, and he lived life for his family. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thrus., Dec. 20, 2007, at the St. Johns United Methodist Church, St. Johns, Pastor Pamela A.K. Hanlon officiating. Burial is to follow at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Clay Twp. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Wed. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. Memorials may be directed to the St. Rita's Hospice or to the St. Johns United Methodist Church.
