Description	:	WENATCHEE - Glenda M. Heminger, 82, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 1996, at her home in Wenatchee. She was born on Feb. 15, 1913, in Wenatchee, to Ernest H. and Laura (Deal) Neher. She grew up and received her education here in Wenatchee area schools, graduating from Wenatchee High School in 1931. She went on to attend college for one year at Washington State College in Pullman. She married Ross A. Heminger, 82, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 1996, at her home in Wenatchee. She was born on Feb. 15, 1913, in Wenatchee, to Ernest H. and Laura (Deal) Neher. She grew up and received her education here in Wenatchee area schools, graduating from Wenatchee High School in 1931. She went on to attend college for one year at Washington State College in Pullman. She married Ross A. Heminger in Wenatchee on Nov. 27, 1934, and worked for a time as the bookkeeper for her husband's apple warehouse business. She then put her full attention into raising her family. She was an active member of the Wenatchee Brethren Baptist Church, serving as a lifetime deacon with the church, and was involved with the Church Quilting Club. She was also a member of the Women of Rotary, and the P.E.O. Chapter DZ. In 1992, she was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award. Glenda was a former member of the Topaz Club, the Alta Salbaugh Hospital Guild, the Ladies Musical Club and the Bridge Club. Survivors include her husband, Ross A. Heminger of Wenatchee; her son, Marc C. Heminger of Wenatchee; her three daughters, Linda Vickery of East Wenatchee, Leanne Ford of Wenatchee, and Merry Kay Shaw of East Wenatchee; her 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Arlene Hackford of Deer Park. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are by Jones and Jones Funeral Directors of Wenatchee.
