Sundvold announces his peaceful passing on February 24, 2020, at the age of 76, after a five-year battle with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. Sundvold announces his peaceful passing on February 24, 2020, at the age of 76, after a five-year battle with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. Glenn was born & raised in Canton, SD; he married Mary Ross on July 24, 1965. They shared their life together in Omaha, NE, where they raised their children, Laura and Thomas. Many summers were spent at their cottage at Lake Okoboji, IA, and later years at their condo at Lewis and Clark Lake, Yankton, SD. Glenn had a career with Fruehauf Corporation before branching into his own business Sundvold Truck-Trailer Sales. He retired 12-years ago and enjoyed lake life, music, movies, entertaining, boating, traveling, and meaningful family reunions. Glenn will be remembered for his humor, quick wit, and making friends easily. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Bert Sundvold; sisters: Karol Peterson, Marilyn Bisson, Jean Stensland, and brother Allen Sundvold. He is survived by his wife, Mary of 54 years; his children Laura Sundvold, and Thomas Sundvold; sister, Diane Faler; and brothers, Bennett Sundvold, and Robert (Rachel) Sundvold; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
