Description	:	Marilyn Friessen, 83, of Schuyler, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Columbus Community Hospital. Marilyn was born July 26, 1929, in Hudson, S.D., to Burt and Helen (Anderson) Sundvold. She attended High School in Canton, S.D., and later taught school. Marilyn married Robert Bisson on Feb. 14, 1951. He died in 1979. In 1980 she married Leo Friessen and he died in 1991. Marilyn was born July 26, 1929, in Hudson, S.D., to Burt and Helen (Anderson) Sundvold. She attended High School in Canton, S.D., and later taught school. Marilyn married Robert Bisson on Feb. 14, 1951. He died in 1979. In 1980 she married Leo Friessen and he died in 1991. She had been a manager for One Hour Martinizing in Sioux Falls and Sioux City. Upon retirement she moved to Schuyler to be closer to family. She worked for several years at Didier's Grocery and volunteered at the Colfax County Senior Center in Schuyler. She was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in South Dakota and currently a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Schuyler. Marilyn is survived by one son, Ross (Kay) Bisson of Healy, Alaska; a daughter, Kimberly (Clint) Cone of Schuyler; two sisters, Diane Faler of St. Louis and Jean Stensland of Canton, S.D.; three brothers, Robert (Rachel) Sundvold, Blue Spring, Mo., Bennett Sundvold of Brandon, S.D., and Glenn (Mary) Sundvold of Omaha; five grandchildren, Shane (Monica) Bisson of Fremont, Beau Bisson of Omaha, Tiffany Cone and Jose Salinas, both of Schuyler, Tina Cone and Jeremy Schumacher, both of Columbus, and Courtney (Aaron) Stevenson of Schuyler; and seven great-grandchildren, Khamden, Cami, Kayden, Noah, Cody, Zoey and Khayl. She was preceded in death by her husbands; one brother, Allen Sundvold; and a sister, Karol Peterson.
