Private family burial will follow services at the Restland Cemetery in Baxter. Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown handled the arrangements. Glen was raised and educated in rural Marshall County where he attended the Eden #6 Country School. Glenn and his wife Nadine farmed for several years and also raised Certified Angus Cattle. Glenn and Nadine moved to rural Bondurant in Polk County in February of 1952 and lived there 37 years before moving back to Baxter in 1989. Glenn was a member of the Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ for over 73 years and also served in several capacities at the Santiago Methodist Church in rural Mitchellville during his time in Bondurant. Glenn was also a memeber of the American Angus Association, the Hackney Association, a charter member of the Polk County Extension Service, the Board of Trustees for Franklin Township and the Polk County Farm Bureau where he was served on the board of directors. Glenn helped to establish the Polk County Rural Water Association, and was an assistant 4-H leader. Glenn worked in the "Pit BBQ" at the Iowa State Fair with the Polk County Beef Producers for over 25 years.
