Description	:	Glenn Edwin Frazee, 82, of Friendsville, MD, died Thursday, February 23, 2017, at his residence. Born August 2, 1934, at Selbysport, MD, he was the son of the late Donald & Orpha (Fike) Frazee. He was preceded in death by one brother, Norval (Jr.) Frazee and five sisters, Izetta McKenzie, Olive Grove, Thelma Grove, Claudine Vitez, Faye Humberson. Born August 2, 1934, at Selbysport, MD, he was the son of the late Donald & Orpha (Fike) Frazee. He was preceded in death by one brother, Norval (Jr.) Frazee and five sisters, Izetta McKenzie, Olive Grove, Thelma Grove, Claudine Vitez, Faye Humberson. Mr. Frazee was a heavy equipment operator for 34 years with the MD State Highway Administration and was also employed by Coddington Lumber & Blaine Frantz, Inc. and was an independent driver for Carnation Milk Company. He was a graduate of Friendsville High School, Class of 1952. Glenn won the 1st Fiddle Contest in Friendsville and he & his band "Mountain String Pickers" played square dance music for many organizations. He was a member of Selbysport United Methodist Church and attended Mill Run Mercy Chapel. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, whom he married on November 30, 1956, Dottie Lou (Staub) Frazee;a son, Lynn E. Frazee & wife, Julie and a daughter, Joyce A. Rodeheaver & husband, Robert, all of Friendsville; five grandchildren, Alisa Kyle, Leah Marie Frazee, Russell Frazee, Bradley Rodeheaver, Michael Rodeheaver; one brother-in-law, Jack Staub & wife, Grace, Houston, AR; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Hinebaugh & Nina Laudermilk, both of Friendsville; good friend, Tracey Gill; special niece & nephew, Donna & Terry Grove; and several nieces & nephews and a special dog, "Little Buddy". Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Services will be conducted in Mill Run Mercy Chapel, Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Daymond Schmuck officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County or Mill Run Mercy Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.newmanfuneralhomes.com.
