Description	:	Glenn was the son of Ralph and Anna Barr. His earliest years were spent in Colorado and at the age of 14 he moved with his family to Outlook, WA. He graduated from Sunnyside High School. In 1951 he entered the U.S. Army and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He received his honorable discharge in November of 1952. On Feb. 8, 1957, Glenn Barr and Donna Dorsey were married in Yakima. Following their marriage they made their home in Sunnyside. On Feb. 8, 1957, Glenn Barr and Donna Dorsey were married in Yakima. Following their marriage they made their home in Sunnyside. He attended Perry Technical Trade School and worked for Sunnyside Frozen Food and Appliance. In 1958 he began working as a service technician for Sears in Yakima. In 1960 they moved to Yakima, and he retired in 1985, making his home in Yakima until the time of his death. He was an active volunteer for the Red Cross in Yakima, having been named a Volunteer of the the Month earlier this year. He was an avid sports fan.. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved working with wood. Glenn Barr is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Helen Dobson and Susan Rogers; six grandchildren, Virginia, C.J., Jason, Dobson, Shaun, Jammie, and Katherine Rogers; three brothers, Merle, Jim, and Albert Barr; two sisters, Norma Krieger and Arlene Barr; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Bruce Barr, and one brother, Cliff Barr.
