Hall died at his home in Waterloo Thursday morning, September 20th, after an illness of about ten days of typhoid-pneumonia. Mr. Hall was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. James Hall of Ithaca, Nebraska. He was born on the home place south of Elkhorn, December 11, 1895, and he was almost 28 years old at the time of his death. He graduated from the Ithaca High school in 1912 and afterwards attended the State Agricultural college. He was married October 28, 1916, to Miss Gladys Condron of Valley and besides his wife; he leave two little boys, Ellsworth, aged 4 years, and Kenneth Glenn, aged 16 months. Glenn was a good boy with a most jovial disposition and to know him was to like him. He liked the outdoors and took an active part in sports of all kinds. Most of his life was spent around this part of the county with the exception of the time he was in school. He leaves a host of friends all over Douglas and Saunders counties. Funeral services will be held next Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church at Waterloo. Interment will be at Prospect Hill cemetery. 1923 The Waterloo Gazette; Waterloo, Nebraska; Friday, September 28, 1923, page 1 Glenn Hall Funeral Held Last Sunday What was said to be the largest number of people ever gathered together at a funeral in Waterloo assembled at he Presbyterian church last Sunday to pay their respects to Glenn Hall, who died at his home in Waterloo last Thursday morning. It is estimated that about a thousand people attended the services. The services were in charge by the Rev. W. O. Samuelson, pastor of the First Baptist church of Valley, who was assisted by the Rev. E. Aston of Waterloo. During the service Mesdames C. D. Lutton and Jay Herrington sang two duets and Robert Warren sang a solo. The services were attended by large numbers of people from Ithaca, Valley, Gretna, Omaha, Millard, Elkhorn, Elk City and numerous other places over the state. The pall-bearers were all first cousins of Mr. Hall, and were Chester Hall, Carl Hall, Phil Hall Jr., Leland Hall, Arnold Willhoft and Claire King. Interment was at Prospect Hill cemetery.
