Description	:	Glenna Louise Dossett was born March 13, 1915 in Illinois to Jake E. and Emma (Unzicker) Dossett. She was a year old when her family moved to a farm east of Spencer, SD. She attended school in Farmer, SD from the first grade to the spring of her seventh grade year. She then moved with the family to a farm north of Spencer, where she attended country school and graduated eighth grade. Read More	Glenna Louise Dossett was born March 13, 1915 in Illinois to Jake E. and Emma (Unzicker) Dossett. She was a year old when her family moved to a farm east of Spencer, SD. She attended school in Farmer, SD from the first grade to the spring of her seventh grade year. She then moved with the family to a farm north of Spencer, where she attended country school and graduated eighth grade. Subsequently her family moved to Spencer where she completed her schooling at Spencer High School. Glenna married Maurice Trent in 1934 and had two children, a daughter Joyce and a son Dee. After Maurice died in 1936, Glenna decided to attend a beautician school in Iowa. While at school, daughter Joyce lived with Grandma Dossett, and son Dee lived with Grandma Trent. After completing her education she returned home to her children, and married Gordon Peppmuller in 1940. Gordon and Glenna had two children a daughter Linda, and a son William. Glenna then established her own beauty shop in her home and maintained it for nearly 50 years. Glenna, affectionately known as Grandma Pepp held many family gatherings at her home with her signature cookies always found in the Raggedy Ann cookie jar for all to enjoy. After Gordon passed away in 1969, Glenna decided to work as a housemother for Dakota Wesleyan University dorm in Mitchell, SD, leaving the salon duties to Virjean Kirby and Karen Twedt. Glenna was a member of both St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Spencer and Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mitchell. While living in Spencer, Glenna loved and shared so much with her family and upon full retirement in 1991 moved to Mitchell, SD where she lived until the summer of 2010. She then moved to the Golden Living Center in Madison, SD and resided there until her death. While at the Golden Living Center, Glenna made many new friends and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, WII Fit games and bean toss. An avid sports fan, Glenna followed and supported the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Twins. Glenna remained active while at Golden Living Center and often times when visiting her you would find her working out in the fitness room, or walking the halls. Grateful for having shared her life are her children Dee (Jeanette) Trent of Colorado Springs, CO, Joyce Tuchen of Sioux Falls, SD, Lynda (Jim) Colety of Frisco, CO and Bill Peppmuller of Denver, CO; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; husbands Maurice and Gordon; sisters Winnie (Earl) Carey, Myra (Moe) Shevlin and Betty (Ken) Figley; brother Morris (Harriet) Dossett and Ron (Charlote) Dossett; grandsons Todd Freese and Christopher Rodgers; granddaughter Susie Tuschen Wermers; great-grandson Lieutenant Clinton Wermers. *Will Funeral Chapel
