Description	:	Glenna Ozella McCaulley, 94, of Sterling died on Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 in Sterling. Visitation and viewing will begin at 1 p.m to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Roberts officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. McCaulley was born on Feb. 28, 1903 in, Palmer, Neb. to parents Arthur L. Johnson and Sarah Theresa Hartford. She died one week short of her 95th birthday.... Mrs. McCaulley was born on Feb. 28, 1903 in, Palmer, Neb. to parents Arthur L. Johnson and Sarah Theresa Hartford. She died one week short of her 95th birthday. She moved with her family to Peetz in 1910 where her father owned a grocery store and was well known as a "horse-trader" The family moved to Iliff for one year before settling in Padroni in 1916. On June 30, 1920 Glenna married Fred Elwon Irelan. They had two sons and a daughter. Mr. Irelan died in 1936. On Feb. 7, 1938 she married J. Ward McCauiley in Sterling. They had one daugh ter. Glenna and Ward moved to Colorado Springs where they resided until returning to Padroni in 1945. Mrs. McCaulley was always an active member of the Padroni community and especially in the Padroni Church where she served as Deaconess and teacher of the Sunday and Bible schools. She was a member of the Home Demonstration and Lambda Sigma Clubs and was involved in many projects at the Padroni School, In 1956, they moved to Sterling where Ward was serving as Logan County Treasurer (1954-1976). In Sterling .she became an active member of the First'Baptist Church and the Sterling Chapter 68 Order of Eastern Star, were she served as wor thy matron, She is survived by daugh ter Sarah M. "Sue" Irelan Tait and husband, Eugene of Sterling. Bonnie McCaulle Johnsey of Cody, Wyo.; daughter-in-law, Shirley Gillespie Irelan of Thermopo lis, Wyo.; II grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of a family of seven brothers and sisters. She is also preceded in death by sons, Fred Elwon Irelan, Jr. and Donald A. Irelan and hus band, J. Ward McCaulley in 1983. Glenna had a strong love of God and His wonderful gift of nature's beauty. She loved fishing with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren in both Colorado and Wyoming. She was an avid reader and never missed watching a rodeo even in her final years. She was the cement that molded together her children, grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends into a close family unit. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the Don Irelan Memorial Scholar ship Fund, 613 Mondell St., Thermopolis, Wyo. 82443.
