She was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Lima to Samuel Irving and Ella Mae Reed Binkley, who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Paul Scott and Raymond Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and used to manage Elida Laundry. She was a member of American Legion Post 96 Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Survivors include a son, George (Sharon) Scott of Beaverdam; a daughter, Cyndy (Tom) McGowan of Fritch, Texas; stepsons Leon Taylor, Mike Taylor, John Taylor, Bruce Taylor, Mark Taylor, Doug Taylor and Bradley Taylor; stepdaughters Chris Judjek, Mary Tolliver and Kathy Taylor; sisters Virginia Finch of Cridersville, Louine Smith of Lima and Janet (Chuck) Winings of Midland, Texas; grandchildren Jennifer (Clete) Reynolds, Karie (Joshua) Mitchell, Anna (Mike) Bowman and Charity (Brad) Dragoo; and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Virgil and Harmon Binkley and three sisters, Jolly Maxwell, Betty Byers and Barbara Coolidge. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Larry Ayers will officiate. A private burial will take place. No public viewing will be observed. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home where the American Legion will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be given to Cridersville Health Care, the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
