Hill, 57, of 1002 Harvey died at 7:08 p.m. Sept. 8, 1987, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, 1001 E. Pennsylvania. He was born April 18, 1930, in Wapello County to Fred and Angeline Sents Hill. He owned and operated Hill’s Garage at his home. He married Twyla Millemon on Jan. 24, 1950, in the Quad City area. He is survived by his wife; four sons, Fred of Oskaloosa, David, Mikel and John of Ottumwa; a daughter, Tammy Feeney of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren; his mother of Agency Route 1; three brothers, Freddie of Ottumwa, David of Agency and Leonard of Eldon; and four sisters, Violet Belgrave of Omaha, Neb., and Evelyn Kendrick, Hannah Handling and Naomi LeGrande of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Gordon Jr. The service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Phil Griffith of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie McDaniel, Rex Wynn, Bud Cox, Howard Carruthers, Russell Haines and Kenneth Heckethorn.
