He was born on August 3, 1922, in Big Timber, the son of Tobias O. and Norma Egeland Osen. He attended Glasston School. From 1939 to 1946 he worked for the McFarland-White Ranch at Two Dot. He was born on August 3, 1922, in Big Timber, the son of Tobias O. and Norma Egeland Osen. He attended Glasston School. From 1939 to 1946 he worked for the McFarland-White Ranch at Two Dot. On January 1, 1944, he married Esther Anderson in Big Timber. From 1950 to 1960 he was foreman of Sieben Livestock at Cascade and in 1960 the family moved to the ranch on Otter Creek. In 1981 Gordon and Esther retired and have enjoyed helping their neighbors because their neighbors were all so good to them. Gordon enjoyed trapping. Gordon is survived by his wife, Esther of Big Timber; a daughter Karen and her husband Robert Pelatt of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers Tom and his wife Helen of Livingston and Albert and his wife Barbara of Big Timber; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ommund; and a sister, Ellen Boe. Funeral services were Saturday, December 14, 2:00 p.m. from Lowry Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Siebert officiating. Music was provided by Debby Arlian on the organ and vocalist Heather Fjare singing "The Old Rugged Cross' and "Danny Boy". Burial followed in Mountain View Cemetery with Ben Martin, Quentin Indreland, Butch Schwers Jerry Hauge, Laurence Larson, and Jim Fellows as casket bearers. Memorials are requested to go to Hospice.
