They had 3 children: Charles John Clanton b. 1910, Kenneth Cecil Clanton b. 1913 and Ethelyn Marie Clanton b. 1919, all in Riverside, California. In a 1920 census Gova was a Truck Chauffeur, perhaps part of his World War 1 draft registration in 1918. In a 1930 census Gova had a dairy in Rubidoux, California where the family had a home. And in 1940 he had a large walnut grove on his property that was listed as his occupation. Gova was my Grandfather and I remember he always worked hard. He lived by the Golden Rule and used to say 'if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything.' He was very well loved by his family and many friends.
