Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, if desired. ******************************************************* In Memory of My Uncle Ken who I admired and respected. He was always kind to me while growing up and he has been missed by many. Uncle Ken owned and operated 'Cooley's Meats' in Colton, California located on the Cooley Ranch. It was the first 'Natural Meat' store of it's kind. His best friend was Clyde Cooley. He married Francis A. Campbell and had one daughter, Susan Montgomery. Francis died in 1968. Uncle Ken died of brain cancer. He told me once that he never was going to remarry since he'd had the best already. He died almost exactly one year after his brother 'Charlie John Clanton' died (February 14, 1974), he also was in his early 60's. Uncle Ken was the one you could count on to help you in any way. He was full of wisdom and kindness. Kenneth had four Grandson's: Thomas Montgomery (step-grandson), Samuel Montgomery, John Montgomery and Daniel Montgomery. His son-in-law was Raymond Montgomery. Kenneth was the son of Gova B. Clanton and Laura Mae Barham/Clanton. He had an older brother, Charles John Clanton and a sister, Ethelyn Marie Clanton/Rossetti.
