Description	:	Grace Evelyn Stauffer was born in April, 1902 in New York City, and died in December, 2000, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Grace finished her elementary education at Greensburg, and went on to graduate from Hagerstown High School. She began her college education at Western Maryland College in Westminster, but then transferred to Juniata College where she received her college degree. Read More	Grace Evelyn Stauffer was born in April, 1902 in New York City, and died in December, 2000, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Grace finished her elementary education at Greensburg, and went on to graduate from Hagerstown High School. She began her college education at Western Maryland College in Westminster, but then transferred to Juniata College where she received her college degree. She taught school for a few years until she met and married a young man from Scotland, Andrew Lamb Fulton. Grace and her two sisters all married the same year, 1928. Her sister, May, married Walter Larimore and her sister, Margaret, married Arthur Mauger. Grace and Andrew had six children: Alice, Grace, Barbara, Mary, Thomas (Tommy) and Andrew (Andy). They raised their children mostly in Waynesboro, then in 1948, bought a farm in Clay Hill, Pennsylvania. Andrew was a draftsman at Pangborn Corporation in Hagerstown. In addition, he and Grace opted for the farm life and raised Black Angus cattle and sheep. They sold the farm after 14 years and bought a large home near the ocean in Ocean City, New Jersey. Andrew died of cancer soon after retiring in Ocean City. Grace continued to live there for a number of years, but missed her friends and family in Waynesboro and Edgemont, and moved back to Waynesboro in the early 1970s. She died at home in 2000 at age 98.
