Description	:	Miller—Final rites were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church for Mrs. Grace Fintzel Kremer, who died Aug. 15 at Hand County Memorial Hospital. The Rev. R. O. Moberly officiated and burial was in GAR Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ted Lamm, Richard Cotton, Jerry Cotton, Dan Heitzman, Leland Christian and Ira Furman. Grace Cheadle was born Nov. 18, 1878, in Freeborn County, Minn., the daughter of Theophilus and Florence Cheadle. They came by covered wagon to Salem when she was six-months-old. She received her schooling at Salem and married John Fintzel June 27, 1897, at Salem. They lived at Salem and Madison and moved to Miller Sept. 1, 1908. They moved to Oregon in 1935 and spent a few years there before returning to Miller. Following the death of her husband in 1940, Mrs. Fintzel went to Oregon for a short time, returning to Miller in the spring of 1942. She was dean of the girls dormitory here seven years. Her marriage to Albert Kremer took place June 10, 1953, and they resided in Sioux City. She suffered a stroke in 1955 and both she and her husband were residents of Ingleside Nursing Home in Sioux City four years. He died Nov. 13, 1960. Mrs. Kremer moved to Kingsbury Manor at Lake Preston in 1961 and in June of 1962 moved to Prairie Center at Miller. She was a member of First Methodist Church, WSCS, Friendship Sunday school class and Royal Neighbor Lodge. Survivors include one son, George Dewey, Sioux City, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Ross Cotton, Miller; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Four brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
