Tuttle, and the parents departed on the afternoon train for Helena, where the young lady was attending the Montana Wesleyan University. She had been ill for some time having contracted scarlet fever during the epidemic in Helena, and other complications which arose in connection, hastened the end. Grace Tuttle was one of the most lovable young ladies it has been our good fortune to know. Bright, happy, with always a smile and a pleasant word for everyone, she brought a ray of sunshine into the lives of all with whom she came in contact, and there are many heavy hearts in Big Sandy today--heavy with sorrow that only comes with the loss of a loved one, and there are many whom she scarcely knew, perhaps, whose grief is as keen at her sudden taking away, as though she was a near and dear relative. A home has been darkened, but the new home to which she has gone will be brightened by her presence, and this thought may lighten the burden of grief caused by her absence. The parents returned from Helena with the remains Saturday morning, and the funeral was held at the M.E. Church in this city Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Haynes of Fort Benton officiating. The funeral was largely attended, and the floral offerings were many and beautiful. A large concourse followed the remains to the cemetery, where they in spirit bade farewell to their departed friend.
