Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Duane Tinklenberg officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Altena, the former Grace Heynen, was born Feb. 20, 1905, in Sioux Center. She married Sam Altena Feb. 25, 1925, in Sioux Center. He died January 8, 1988.
