The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene, with the Rev. Rick Saylor officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery. Seaton, 92, former Abilene resident, died Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Columbus Manor, Columbus, Neb. The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene, with the Rev. Rick Saylor officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery. On Sept. 12, 1927, she was married to James C. Seaton in Enterprise, and they lived in Abilene all of their married life. Mrs. Seaton was a homemaker and had a home catering service for many years. During the mid 1950's she operated Seaton's Tea Room. She was also a sales associate in several retail stores in Salina. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Women's Society and was a Sunday school teacher. She served on the Fair Board and the local Girl Scout Council for many years and was a girl scout leader and camp counselor. In October 1996, Mrs. Seaton moved to Columbus, Neb. She is survived by one son, Glen Seaton of Wichita; a daughter, Marilyn Murray of Columbus, Neb.; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, Nov. 11, 1957, an infant son and daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.
