Description	:	Grace Juneau "June" Hill Huggins Jarrett, of Kingstree, died June 15, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Jarrett was born August 26, 1926, in Whiteville, NC,the only child of the late George Alton and Hope Lee Hillburn Hill. She was a graduate of the Mullins High School class of 1943 and attended Coker College.She was a member of the Beauty Court and Glee Club during her freshman year at Coker College. Read More	Grace Juneau "June" Hill Huggins Jarrett, of Kingstree, died June 15, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Jarrett was born August 26, 1926, in Whiteville, NC,the only child of the late George Alton and Hope Lee Hillburn Hill. She was a graduate of the Mullins High School class of 1943 and attended Coker College.She was a member of the Beauty Court and Glee Club during her freshman year at Coker College. She was a retired florist and had been the owner of June's Gift's and Flowers in Hemingway and Red Door Flowers in Kingstree. Mrs. Jarrett was a member of the Garden Club of SC, past president of the Hemingway Garden Club, past vice president of the PTA in Hemingway, past president of the Wesleyman Service Guild, former soloist in the chior of the Hemingway Methodist Church, former secretary of Wellman Country Club, member of the Pilot Club, and many different bridge clubs in Hemingway and Kingstree. She taught bridge at Williamsburg TEC. She was a volunteer with the USO during WWII. In 1954 she was named Civitan Citizen of the Year in Hemingway, and was a member of the Kingstree First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Huggins, Sr., and is survived by two daughters, Sandy McCaskill (Murdock) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Nancy Staton of Kingstree; one son, Jimmy Huggins of Kingstree; three grandchildren, Joey Staton, Roscoe Nesmith and Nancy Hope McCaskill; three great-grandchildren. Burial was in Old Johnsonville Cemetery.
