Description	:	Miss Grace Crandell passed away Wednesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. C.J. Werner, following a prolonged illness, aged 37 years. The body was taken to Edgar, where funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2;30 at the Methodist Church. Werner, following a prolonged illness, aged 37 years. The body was taken to Edgar, where funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2;30 at the Methodist Church. Wymore Arbor State January 13, 1932 -- Page 1 Grace Lorene Crandell was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Crandell. She was born near Angus, Nebr., August 19, 1894. She passed away at Wymore, Nebr., at the age of 37 years, 4 months, 25 days. She had spent the past six years in California, going there on account of poor health, and was much better until about 1 1/2 years ago, when her health began to fail She returned to Nebraska, August 27, 1931, and had been seriously ill at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. J. Werner. To know Grace was to love her. She attended the Hastings Business College and later worked in the office of the Mary Lanning Hospital for two years, where she made a host of friends. She had been in poor health a great deal, but had been so patient and sweet through it all, never com- plaining, She united with the United Brethren Church at Angus when quite young. Her membership was with the Hastings U. B. church at the time of her departure. She was preceded; in death by her father, mother, two brothers and an infant sister. She leaves to mourn her loss two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Werner at Wymore and Mrs. Oscar Asmus of Hastings, her foster sister, Mrs, Will Peters of Edgar Her brother, John, preceded her in death 1 1/2 years ago at Wich- ita, Kansas, where he resided. She also leaves six neices and four neph- ews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at Edgar at 1:30, Friday, January 15, 1932, with Rev. J. A. Adams of the Hastings Evangelieal church in charge. Rev. Adams has been a friend of the family for years. Burial was made in the Edgar Cemetery.
