Description	:	Mrs Grace T. McKinley, 89, died at the West Portal Nursing Home here [Clarinda, Ia] at about 6 am Sunday, after an illness lasting several years. She was the widow of the late Garrett McKinley, who preceded her in death in 1952. At the time of her husband's death they were living in New Market, where she continued to live with her son, Byron E. McKinley, until as the result of a broken hip and other illness, she had to be brought to the nursing home in Clarinda to be cared for. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister,... Read More	Mrs Grace T. McKinley, 89, died at the West Portal Nursing Home here [Clarinda, Ia] at about 6 am Sunday, after an illness lasting several years. She was the widow of the late Garrett McKinley, who preceded her in death in 1952. At the time of her husband's death they were living in New Market, where she continued to live with her son, Byron E. McKinley, until as the result of a broken hip and other illness, she had to be brought to the nursing home in Clarinda to be cared for. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Emma Humphrey, who died in November of last year, and her son Byron E., who died in 1958. She is survived by a son, Francis McKinley, Sebastopol, Calif; a daughter, Mrs Clarice Lamb, Sonoma, Calif; and a sister, Mrs Lint (Nancy) Roberts, of New Market. Both her son and daughter are here for the service, arriving here by way of airlines and bus Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 10:30 am Tuesday, with Preacher Clarence Potter in charge. Organist will be Miss Aletha Hutchings. Casket bearers will be Emory Hardee, Estes Hardee, Merwin Martin, D.L. Roberts, George Woolson, and R.R. Watson. Burial will be at the side of her husband in Memory Cemetery near New Market.
