The son of Wilson and Elizabeth Wiley Dial, he was born December 9, 1892, near Eldon. He was a veteran of World war 1, and married Ethel Bonney August 30, 1917, at Des Moines. He was preceded in death by a son, Gale, who died in World war 11, by an infant daughter, Mary Rose, and by three brothers. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral chapel. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
