Description	:	G.M. Sparks died yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at his home 514 Cedar Street. Grandville Moody Sparks was born October 26, 1846 in Pretty Prairie, Ind. He was brought up in Indiana and at the outbreak of the Civil War; he enlisted as a private in Company B, 60th Regiment, Ohio Infantry. He fought through the war and was honorably discharged in 1864. Mr. Sparks is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Sparks, four children, Mrs. Olive Milam, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Vera Benson, and Mrs. Blanche Jones, of Emporia, and Alvah O. Sparks, of Reading, and a sister, Mrs. Althea Morgan, of Burlingame. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Sparks home, 514 Cedar Street. Rev. T. J.
