Read More	Gregory "G" James Wood, 36 Gregory "G" James Wood, 36, from Libby passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 from complications after receiving a heart transplant. He was as gregarious as his name implies. Greg always had a positive outlook and a smile for everyone. Greg was born in Kalispell on April 4, 1974 to Trudie and Jerry Woods. Greg grew up in Libby and attended both Western Montana College in Dillon and Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell where he earned his goldsmith degree. He worked as a jeweler eventually purchasing Fast Fix Jewelry Repair in Portland, Ore. After 10 years in Oregon, he began his journey back to Montana. While camping, Greg suffered a heart attack and received an LVAD mechanical heart pump and became an inspiration within the cardiac community. Greg loved all life had to offer. He was an avid camper and loved the outdoors, sketching and writing, classic cars and his jeep. He adored being "Uncle G" and would spend hours just playing and being a kid himself. He always gave willingly without question and although his heart failed him physically, it was his heart that made him who he was. Greg was preceded in death by his mother Trudie Woods. Greg is survived by his father, Jerry Woods, of Polson; brother, Barry Watterson-Woods and sister-in-law Joycelyn of Beaverton, Ore.; sister, Jeralyn Jones and brother-in-law Brock of Libby; six nieces and nephews, Issak, Nikolas and Jessika Jones of Libby, and Conor, Miles and Alicen Watterson-Woods of Beaverton. His entire family was a considerable force in his life. Services will be held at the Libby Christian Church on Friday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Those planning to attend are asked to dress casual. Celebration will follow at the VFW.
