Soon after birth, she was baptized into the Lutheran faith. In 1900, she came with her parents and family to Nebraska and resided near Filley. Read More	Beatrice Daily Sun, Beatrice, NE Sunday 7 January 1968 p. 4 Mrs. Grace Frerichs was born June 13, 1884, at Royal, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Busboom. Soon after birth, she was baptized into the Lutheran faith. In 1900, she came with her parents and family to Nebraska and resided near Filley. On March 30, 1901, she was confirmed at Zion Lutheran church, Pickrell, Neb., by the Rev. Mr. Hertel. On Feb. 25, 1903, she was united in marriage to Menne Lenners. This union was blessed with four children, all of whom survive their mother. On Nov. 24, 1910, after less than eight years of married life, she was left a widow by the death of her husband. for the next 12 years, she and her children made their home with her parents near Filley. On Jan. 25, 1922, she was united in marriage to Fred Frerichs. They made their home southwest of Hildreth. In February of 1944, they retired and moved to Hildreth. On May 26, 1948, her husband, Fred Frerichs, passed away. She continued to make her home in Hildreth until August of 1967, when she became ill and was taken to hospital in Minden, Neb. After a lingering illness, she quietly passed away Dec. 12, 1967. she had reached the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 29 days. During her long life, she was always active in her home and in her church, ever ready to lend a helping hand where ever needed. She is ****** by her four children, John Lenners of Adams, Mrs. Teda Parde of Glendale, Calif., Renken Lenners of Beatrice and Thees Lenners of Wilcox, Neb., her seven step-children, Otto, Onnie, and John Frerichs and Mrs. Helena Westerbuhr of Hildreth, Mrs. Emma Boeck of Loyal, Wis., Mrs. Anne Luddington of Bridgeport, Nebr., and Herman Frerichs of Loomis, Nebr.; 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Busboom of Filley; two sisters, Mrs. John Ehmen of Pickrell, Neb., and Mrs. Paul Baehr of Adams; besides a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services were held Dec. 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Hildreth with Pastor A. Geske officiating with further services at Zion Lutheran at Pickrell Dec. 16, 1967, Pastor A. GEske and Pastor Erwin Bergstraesser officiated. Safe in the arms of Jesus Safe on His gentle breast There by His love overshadowed Sweetly her soul at rest.
