Description	:	Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Grover Banker, at the Congregational Church, in Hampton. Rev. D.M. Beggs, was in charge of the final rights and burial was made in the cemetery at Chapin. Mr. Banker died Friday morning, February 21st, in the Sanitarium at Oakdale, following an illness of about 11 months. Grover Banker was born February 27, 1899, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Paulus Banker, of Chapin. On Friday 21, 1917 he was married to miss Theo Reno, at Rockwell. They made their home near Chapin, moving to Hampton in 1925, where they had since made their home. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by one daughter who died in 1921, by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, one son, Robert Banker, one brother, Fred Banker, of Hampton, and three sisters, Mrs. L.R. Kruisemark, of Hampton, Mrs. Leo C. Stewart, of St Paul, Minnesota, and Mrs. Otto Olson of the Chapin. Mr. banker was a member of the Congregational Church in Chapin Hampton Times 24 Feb. 1947
