Description	:	Guy Lewis Smith, son of Daniel Smith, was born near Beaver Crossing, Nebraska May 4, 1885 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital April 6, 1957 at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 2 days. He was united in marriage to Myrtle Collier March 27, 1907 at Beaver Crossing and to this union four sons and two daughters were born; Mrs. Axel Christensen and Lloyd Smith of Beaver Crossing; Ross Smith, Chicago; John Smith, Mitchell, South Dakota; Mrs. Chester Flanigan (Ethel), Des Moines, Iowa and George Smith of Lincoln. The family moved to Lincoln in 1942 and made their home there since. On March 24, 1957 Mr. and Mrs. Smith celebrated their Golden Wedding. Mr. Smith was a fine Christian man. He had been in ill health for some time and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Myrtle, six children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ralph Williams at Umberger's Funeral Home in Lincoln followed by graveside services conducted by Rev.
