Read More	NO STONE- NO STONE--NO STONE Hannah DeMarie Wynn was born near Buffalo, N.Y., April 24, 1839, and there resided until she was about fifteen years of age, when she came to Illinois to make her home with her oldest sister. She taught school for a number of years prior to her marriage. On February 7, 1864, she was joined in holy matrimony with William Carr at Franklinville, McHenry County, Ill. Two daughters were born to them, Mrs. Allie C. Jacobs and Miss Sadie Carr of Edgar. The two children of Mr. Carr's deceased brother became members of the family in 1883, Ray F. Carr of West Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Nettie Hart of Dunbar, Neb. The family moved to Lynn County, Ia., and thence in June, 1872 to Clay County, Neb. Forty years ago they left the farm two miles north of town to make their permanent home in Edgar. The husband and father passed to the heavenly home on May 3, 1909. About three years ago Mrs. Carr was attacked with the insidious disease to which she finally succumbed at 8:20 o'clock on Thursday morning, February 2, at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 8 days. The last attack was not of long duration and she passed quietly, almost imperceptibly, into the life more abundant.She is not dead, simply gone home to wait for the coming of her daughters, two grandsons, foster children, two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Raymond of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Mrs. M. J. Burroughs of East Randolph, Vt., and many friends she has known so long and loved so dearly. According to a recently expressed preference of the departed, the short service was held at the home. This was conducted by Rev. William Boyers of the Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. W. C. Brewer of the Presbyterian Church. "Jesus Is Mine," " Asleep in Jesus' and "My Jesus, As Thou Wilt" were the hymns sung by the quartet: Mrs. Roy Shipley, Mrs. Earl Hart, C. S. Voorhees and J. G. Walley. The scripture lesson was read from Mrs. Carr's own Bible, John 14:1-6, Rev. 7: 9-17, and the text on which the address was founded was 2 Tim, 4:6, 7, 8.
