Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel April 27, 1972 Services Were Held on Saturday For Mrs. Hannah Olson Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Elim Lutheran Church of Swaburg, for Mrs. Hannah E. Olson, 91. The Rev. Lloyd Anderson officiated. Music for the service was by Mrs. Orville Bergquist and Mrs. Robert Engdahl, with Mrs. Alvis Petersen organist. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eugene Bergquist, Harold Bergquist, Eugene Johnson, George I. Nelson, Linde Nelson, and Ernest Monson. The funeral was under the direction of Warne Funeral Home, Hooper. Hannah Martenson was born near Hooper on July 9, 1880 to Nels and Elna Martenson. She had made this community her home her entire lifetime. She passed away at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Scribner following an illness of four moths. Baptized and confirmed in the Elim Lutheran Church of Swaburg, she was a lifetime member of the church, honorary member of the LCW, and always active in church work. On Febr. 24, 1904, she was united in marriage to Otto H. Olson. He passed away on May 12, 1938. Survivors include two sons, Martin of Hooper, and Carl of Lincoln; six grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren,and a number of nieces and nephews .
