Nemechek Aged Mother was Past 86 at Time of Her Death, February 14th Hannah Elizabeth Nemechek, nee Green, was born at Albion, Iowa, October 25, 1854, and passed from this life February 14, 1941, age 86 years, 3 months and 18 days. The family lived in Belle Plaine and community about 21 years, leaving in 1921. After the death of her husband she lived in the home of a son, Edward, of Lehigh, Ia. Nemechek Aged Mother was Past 86 at Time of Her Death, February 14th Hannah Elizabeth Nemechek, nee Green, was born at Albion, Iowa, October 25, 1854, and passed from this life February 14, 1941, age 86 years, 3 months and 18 days. The family lived in Belle Plaine and community about 21 years, leaving in 1921. After the death of her husband she lived in the home of a son, Edward, of Lehigh, Ia. Mrs. Nemichek (sic) was baptized in the Christian church. There were twelve children in the Nemichek (sic) family, six of whom survive. They are Joseph, of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Ed Smith and Mrs. Lester Janes of Belle Plaine, Mrs. Alvin Ingals, of Rising Sun, Neb., Mrs. Marshall Campbell of Rinard, Iowa, and Edward Nemechek of Lehigh. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary A Turk, of Ames, Okla., together with other near relatives and many friends. Mrs. Nemechek was a gold star mother, her son, August, having passed away overseas in 1917 while in service in the World war. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Hrabak Funeral Home with Rev. Park Miller of Bethany evangelical church conducting the service. Mrs. Roxie Hughes sang “The City Foursquare,” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, with Mrs. P. E. Miller at the organ. The body was buried in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery.
