Description	:	Hannah F. Kruger Franke Rothe was the daughter of William and Hannah Kruger. In 1880, she and her birth family were residing in Fontanelle, Washington, Nebraska. Also residing with the Kruger family were three farm hands, one of which was August Franke. August was the son of William and Anna Franke, who relocated from Illinois to Fontanelle sometime between 1870 and 1880. Hannah and August were married on 10/24/1880 in Washington County, Nebraska. Kruger Franke Rothe was the daughter of William and Hannah Kruger. In 1880, she and her birth family were residing in Fontanelle, Washington, Nebraska. Also residing with the Kruger family were three farm hands, one of which was August Franke. August was the son of William and Anna Franke, who relocated from Illinois to Fontanelle sometime between 1870 and 1880. Hannah and August were married on 10/24/1880 in Washington County, Nebraska. By 1896, August was in California per voter's registration documents; specifically in Los Angeles. In 1900, he was a resident of Los Angeles, said to be single, employed as a cook, and was said to have been born in Illinois in December of 1854. I can find nothing more at this time concerning August, but it appears that he and Hannah separated between around 1889 (youngest son, Edward, was born) and 1896, and that he possibly passed away between 1900 and 1910. There was no mention of him as surviving his mother when she passed away in 1915. As Mrs Hannah Franke, she and Edward Rothe were married on February 6, 1898 in Washington county, Nebraska.
