Interment in the Norwegian cemetery Friday afternoon. The news was brought to this city early Monday morning of the sudden death of Mrs. Hans Anderson, living eight miles northeast of this city, near the Dane church. It was the good fortune of many of our citizens to have known Mrs. Anderson personally, and the many from this city in attendance at her funeral, bespeak the esteem in which she was held. ... Interment in the Norwegian cemetery Friday afternoon. The news was brought to this city early Monday morning of the sudden death of Mrs. Hans Anderson, living eight miles northeast of this city, near the Dane church. It was the good fortune of many of our citizens to have known Mrs. Anderson personally, and the many from this city in attendance at her funeral, bespeak the esteem in which she was held. Mrs. Anderson had been troubled for some time with bronchial complications, and quite frequently of late has had serious sick spells because of that affection [sic]. Sunday night she was taken seriously ill and the doctor was immediately summoned, but the attack was so serious that she passed away before his arrival. Mrs. Anderson was born in Denmark and moved to this country when she was quite young, settling finally near Fremont, Neb., where she was married to Hans Anderson, a prominent farmer. They moved to Nance county 28 years ago and have lived ever since in the locality of her last residence. Besides her husband, she leaves four sons and one daughter to reverence her memory. She was 51 years of age. The services were held by the Rev. Mr. Rasmussen, of Platte county, at the Danish church eight miles northeast of this city, and interment in the Scandinavian cemetery near that church.
