On Jan 3, 1948, he married Vera May Fuller, who preceded him in death. Surviving are four sons: Cary (Linda), Robert and Tony (Vera), all Lima, and Buddy, Santa Fe; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Childs; and six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Services will be at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the US Army and the VFW Post 1275.
