Description	:	The Lyons Mirror-Sun 1-27-1966 Rites Held For Harold A. Nelson Funeral services were held at the Piper Funeral home Monday at two o'clock for Harold A. Nelson, a Burt county pioneer. Rev. Dillon Hess, pastor of the Memorial Methodist church of Lyons, officiated. Mrs. Ruby Case and Mrs. Jerrel Lea Case sang a duet with Ruby serving as the pianist. The pallbearers were Kermit Peterson, Myron Peterson, Leonard Rennerfeldt, Clifford Nelson, Henry Uehling and Rodney Nelson Interment was in the cemetery with Piper Service charge. He was united in marriage to Esther Cooper of Uehling in October 1937. She died four months later. Harold continued farming west of Lyons until he retired in the late nineteen forties and moved to Lyons. He had resided in the Lyons hotel for the last several years. Survivor include three brothers, Alden and Dave of Oakland and Elmer of Lyons. Also, numerous other relatives.hhw
