Description	:	MADISON - Harold "Bud" Hendsbee, 87, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, 2015, at Woodlawn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Skowhegan, with family at his side. Bud was a WWII veteran, he had worked for Madison Paper Co., spent many years in law enforcement, worked as a custodian and bus driver for the Madison school system, delivered milk for the former Hunt's Dairy, owned and operated a store at Clough's Corner, and was a laborer for Campbell's True Value, until he retired in 1990. Read More	MADISON - Harold "Bud" Hendsbee, 87, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, 2015, at Woodlawn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Skowhegan, with family at his side. Bud was a WWII veteran, he had worked for Madison Paper Co., spent many years in law enforcement, worked as a custodian and bus driver for the Madison school system, delivered milk for the former Hunt's Dairy, owned and operated a store at Clough's Corner, and was a laborer for Campbell's True Value, until he retired in 1990. After retiring, he enjoyed camping at Happy Horse Shoe, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 60 plus years. Where you saw Bud, you saw Helen, where you saw Helen, you saw Bud. They loved interacting with their church community. Bud was predeceased by his wife Helen; a son Alfred; a grandson, Rick; three brothers, Laurier and his wife Agnes, Alfred and his wife Geneva, and Wilfred and his wife Cora, four sisters, May Aho and her husband Eric, Lillian Craven and her husband Jonathan, Milly Moody and her husband Albert, and Muriel Remick and her husband Albert. He is survived by a son, Rick and his partner Jeanne Dube of Sidney; grandsons, Luke and his wife Liz of Winslow, and Adam and his wife Rachel of Fairfield; four great-grandchildren, Gunnar, Katie, Kevin and Michael; a sister, Margaret Cowan of Madison, a brother Donald "Tata" and his wife Glorial of East Millinocket; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, the date and time will be announced. Many thanks to Woodlawn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for all the love and care you gave my Dad. A special thank you to the Redington-Fairview Hospital for the years of care you gave Dad and Mom.
