Read More	Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke, CO, 3 Oct 1996 Harold D.F. Sagehorn of Holyoke was born June 20, 1918 in Deshler, Nebraska to Martha Marie Warnecke and Dietrich Fredrich Sagehorn. He died September 28, 1996 at Haxtun Hospital in Haxtun at the age of 78. Harold was baptized as an infant and was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst. In 1937 he graduated from Phillips County High School and later attended welding school in Greeley. On August 10, 1955, Harold was united in marriage to Ulene Victoria Swedberg at the Fairfild Covenant Church. The couple made their home on a farm east of Holyoke. Harold devoted a great deal of time to his family and supported their many activities. He drove the tank wagon for Amherst Co-op and the Holyoke Conoco agent before purchasing the Mobile Oil distributorship in Holyoke in 1957. He continued this business and farmed until very recently. Sagehorn served the community by being involved in various church offices, serving on a committee of the Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union, as a 4-H leader and a supporter of FFA. He was awarded honorary membership at the local and state levels. After cardiac problems, Harold actively participated in the cardiac rehab program at Melissa Memorial Hospital. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include wife Ulene of Holyoke; sons Gary and wife Cindy and children Andrea and Jadon of Lakewood, Keith and wife Diane and children John and Elisa of Holyoke and Ray Dean and wife Ursula and children Ross and Hannah of Fort Lupton; sister Lola and husband Lyle Prussman of Otis; two nieces and two nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Services were scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 1996 at Zion Lutheran Church in Holyoke with Pastor Gary Rahe officiating. Burial was to follow at Holyoke Memorial Park.
