Sieb was born in Alliance, Nebraska on August 10, 1925 to Albert P. and Bertha (Whitlock) Siebenaler. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1943 and joined the Army Air Corp, serving from 1943 to 1945. He attended Chadron State College where he studied education and earned his degree in 1950. He met Anne Marie Schlotthauer during his time at Chadron State, and they married on August 20, 1950 in Mitchell, Nebraska. They set off to begin their teaching careers in Rock Springs, Wyoming and start a family. While teaching and helping raise his three children, he earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Wyoming and later moved to Ranchester, Wyoming. A lifelong educator, he devoted his life to helping others grow and develop over his 35 years as a teacher. His passion for helping others also allowed him to spend time servicing his community as the mayor of Ranchester. He was also an active member of the First Presbyterian church in Sheridan, Wyoming. He cared about helping others before himself and was always highly regarded within the community. Sieb enjoyed camping and fishing in the Big Horn Mountains, appreciating wildlife for all its beauty. He also enjoyed travelling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Sieb was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Bertha, wife Anne, granddaughter Heidi, and sister Carolyn. Memorial services will be held March 23, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Sheridan, Wyoming. Burial ceremony will take place March 25, 2016 at the Alliance Cemetery in Alliance, Nebraska, as he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
