Description	:	Harold David "Bud" Hytrek, 69, of Glenwood died February 27, 2004, at his home. Memorial services were held March 13, 2004, at the Hertz Funeral Home in Glenwood. Darrell Hopp officiated. A private interment was held. Harold David "Bud" Hytrek, one of nine children of Charles and Alice Goldie (James) Hytrek, was born near Ogallala, Nebraska on November 18, 1934. A private interment was held. Harold David "Bud" Hytrek, one of nine children of Charles and Alice Goldie (James) Hytrek, was born near Ogallala, Nebraska on November 18, 1934. The family soon moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and eventually to Council Bluffs, Iowa area where Bud attended Garner No.7 Township rural school.  During the next eight years, Bud worked for Fruehauf Trailer Company in Omaha, Nebraska before beginning his life-long occupation as a cement mason. Bud and Martha Ann Siedel were married on April 8, 1955. Their marriage was blessed with seven children Harold David Hytrek, Jr., Daniel, Roxanna, Roseann, Suzanne, Thomas, and Sheila. Harold eventually built a home for his family at 101 Longview Drive in Council Bluffs. In 1972, they moved to Mineola, Iowa. Bud and Martha divorced in 1975 and Harold moved to a home near Pony Creek northwest of Glenwood, Iowa in 1977.  Bud and Anna Marie Wilson were married on June 6, 1982 and lived at Bud's home. Ill health forced Bud to retire in 1996. His enjoyments included building playground equipment for their grandchildren, gardening, raising chickens and all animals of all kinds, fishing and hunting.  Bud and Anna Marie had been married for 21 years when Anna Marie died on November 8, 2003. Bud's health rapidly declined and Bud was found dead at his home on March 7, 2004. It is presumed that Bud died on February 27th having attained the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 9 days.  Bud was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Robert Hytrek and Richard Hytrek. He is survived by his seven children, David Hytrek, of Madrid, IA, Daniel Hytrek and companion Mary Chenoweth of Council Bluffs, Roxanna Robison of Bonita, CA, Roseann Meeks and husband Dave of Imperial Beach, CA, Suzanne Batac and husband Romeo of Santa Anna, CA, Thomas Hytrek and wife Cindy of Council Bluffs, IA, and Sheila Guillory and husband Tony of San Diego, CA; stepchildren Phillip Wilson of Bunker Hill, IL, Terri Porter, Kathy Bussey, Regina Webster, and Bobbi Rumery all of Glenwood; sister Wava Smith and her husband Dwight, brothers Howard Hytrek, James Hytrek and wife Sharon, Jerome Hytrek and wife Sharon all of Council Bluffs, Thomas Hytrek and wife Shirley of Denver, CO, and Jack Hytrek and wife Twila of Honey Creek, IA.  Glenwood Opinion Tribune, March 17 2004, page 2
