Harold Dean Snider, fifth son of Samuel and Myrtle Stroud Snider, was born September 26, 1930 in Wayne County, Corydon Township, Iowa. He attended rural schools in Wayne County and graduated from Seymour High School in Seymour, Iowa in 1949. Read More	Harold Snider, age 79, passed away at the Greater Regional Hospice House at Creston, Iowa on June 30, 2010. Harold Dean Snider, fifth son of Samuel and Myrtle Stroud Snider, was born September 26, 1930 in Wayne County, Corydon Township, Iowa. He attended rural schools in Wayne County and graduated from Seymour High School in Seymour, Iowa in 1949. Following graduation, he was employed by the J.I.Case Company at Davenport, Iowa for a number of years. On September 25, 1954, he was united in marriage to Donna Marie Bedier at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. To this union, one daughter was born, Deanne Marie. Harold and Donna spent approximately 55 years farming at their residence south of Murray. He enjoyed being with his family, taking care of the farm, and visiting with neighbors. He would always cherish the time spent with his grandsons whether on the farm or attending their activities. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was also an avid reader. Harold was a member of the Hopeville United Methodist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Donna, of 55 years; daughter, Deanne (Raydean) Boles of Murray; two grandsons, Dustin Boles of Indianola and Michael Boles of Murray. He is also survived by brothers, Miles (Alberta), Bill (Marilyn), all of Seymour, Bennie (Marilyn) of Webster City; sister-in-law, Helen Snider of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. An infant brother, Bobby Snider; brother, Milo Snider; niece, Martha Renee Snider; and parents preceded him in death.
