Description	:	Harold F. Gordon was born at Holton, KS, on April 16, 1897, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Gordon. His boyhood and practically his entire life was spent in this locality. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served overseas with the Sixth Reg. U.S. Marine Band in France during World War I. Upon his return from service he married Blanche V. Haas on October 1, 1919. His wife, Blanche; his daughter, Helen June Kraemer; and his son, Donald H. Gordon, of the immediate family survive him. A daughter, Doris Jane, died in infancy. His brother, Allen A.... One grandson, Richards Gordon Kraemer, survives...Harold was a member of the Presbyterian church and an elder...Services were held Thursday, Jan 29, 1948, at 2 pm at the McAsey Mortuary, Rev. David Thomas in charge of service. Burial in the Holton Cemetery. Bob Parker sang...Mrs. Henry Zwonitzer, Jr., at the piano. Pall bearers were Ross Francis, George Newton, Clarence Lutz, Harry Artman, Noel Coleman and Frederick Fisher. The flowers were cared for by the following: Mr. and Mrs. Lake Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Banks, Mrs. Schrober, Mr. Harry Sigmund, Mr. Frank McCurdy and Mrs. George Newton.
