Harold was born June 26, 1935 in Topeka, the son of Albert and Elizabeth Burghart. He was baptized and grew up in St. Joseph Parish. On July 9, 1955, Harold and Marlys Johnson were married. He will be greatly missed. Other survivors include his children, Sandy (Brent) Foster, Tim Burghart, Tammy (Dan) Alvarez, and Susan (Dennis) Moran; step-children, Carl Burge, Jack, Pam and Scott Perry; grandchildren, Matt (Stephanie) Lewis, Marissa Lewis, Michael (Kristin) Alvarez, Sean (Pam) Alvarez, Eric and Brandon Alvarez, Krista and Will Moran; step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Perry; great-grandchildren, Parker and Mason Alvarez and Cameron Phillips; brothers and sisters, Rosemary (Bernie) Halliwell, Albert (Sharon) Burghart, Donnie Burghart, Bob (Pat) Burghart, Jerry (Vicki) Burghart, Richard Burghart, Debbie (Bill) Smith; sister-in-law, Carolyn Thomason; brother-in-law, Hartley (Luella) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. A Knights of Columbus/Parish rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Thurs. at St. Joseph Church where family will greet friends after the rosary until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Fri. at the Church.
