Born November 28, 1925, in Chambersburg, Mr. Eby was the son of the late Ira Lehman Eby and Lydia Burkholder (Lehman) Eby. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Eunice L. Petre; two grandson, Lowell and Marvin Miller; two brothers, David L. and Lloyd A. Eby; and a sister, Mary K. Eby. Read More	OBITUARY : HAROLD LEHMAN EBY, 86, of Clearville, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at the Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD. Born November 28, 1925, in Chambersburg, Mr. Eby was the son of the late Ira Lehman Eby and Lydia Burkholder (Lehman) Eby. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Eunice L. Petre; two grandson, Lowell and Marvin Miller; two brothers, David L. and Lloyd A. Eby; and a sister, Mary K. Eby. Harold was a retired farmer and previously employed as an agriculture products salesman. He was a member of the Flintstone Mennonite Church. Harold is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary E. Eby; his sons, Donald R. Eby and wife, Linda, Beans Cove Road, PA; and Lauren E. Eby and wife, Esther, Guatemala; and his daughters, Ellen M. Martin and husband, Clifford, Hagerstown, Md.; Ester L. Ruble and husband, Steven, Woodville, Texas; and Elaine K. Miller and husband, James, Hagerstown, Md. He is also survived by his brothers, Wayne Eby; Glen Eby and wife, Naomi, all of Greencastle; and J. Elden Eby and wife, Marie, Chambersburg; his sisters, Louise Martin, Hagerstown, Md.; Dorothy Schrock and husband, Clifford, Boyd, Wis.; as well as 35 living grandchildren and 86 living great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Reiff Mennonite Church, 17433 Reiff church Road, Hagerstown, Md., on Friday form 1 to 3 p.m. Friends will also be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, on Friday, February 24, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the Flintstone Mennonite Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Church Ministry officiating. Interment will be in the Flintstone Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
