Description	:	Wayne Aldus Eby, 87, of Greencastle, PA, formerly of Flintstone, MD, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2014, at his son's home near London, KY, after a short period of rapid decline. He was born October 1, 1927, near Chambersburg, PA.He was the son of the late Ira L. and Lydia (Lehman) Eby, and the husband of the late Cora (Hege) Eby. Read More	Wayne Aldus Eby, 87, of Greencastle, PA, formerly of Flintstone, MD, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2014, at his son's home near London, KY, after a short period of rapid decline. He was born October 1, 1927, near Chambersburg, PA.He was the son of the late Ira L. and Lydia (Lehman) Eby, and the husband of the late Cora (Hege) Eby. He was a member of the Flintstone Mennonite Church near Flintstone, MD, where he had lived and served as a deacon for many years. He is survived by one daughter, Evelyn M. Petre and husband Nathan of Canton, PA; four sons, Lester W. Eby and wife Emma Ruth of Colby, WI, Nevin I. Eby and wife Carolyn of Port Trevorton, PA, Delmar R. Eby and wife Louise of London, KY, and Arlin R. Eby and wife Sandra of Greencastle, PA.; 32 grandchildren; and 64 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Louise F. Martin, Maugansville, MD, and Dorothy A. (Martin) Schrock and husband Clifford of Boyd, WI; and two brothers, Glen I. Eby of Greencastle, PA, and J. Eldon Eby of Chambersburg, PA. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Joylin Eby; three brothers, David Eby, Lloyd Eby and Harold Eby; and one sister, Mary. Friends will be received at the Reiff Mennonite Church on Thursday, December 11, 2014, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., and at the Flintstone Mennonite Church, also December 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held, Lord willing, at the Flintstone Mennonite Church on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. The Flintstone ministry will be in charge of the funeral service. There will be a viewing one hour before the service. Burial will be immediately following in the adjoining cemetery. Published in Public Opinion on Dec. 10, 2014
