Description	:	Harold R. Brown Services were held Tuesday morning at St. Ann's Catholic Church of Berthold for Harold R. (Beans) Brown, 45, of Berthold, who killed about noon Saturday when crushed by a bulldozer. The accident occurred on a county road about 16 miles southwest of town when Beans was attempting to remove the dozer from a trailer, when the wheels of the trailer sank into the soft shoulder of the road. Steve Zastoupii of officiated and burial was in St. Leo's cemetery, Minot. Pallbearers were Ted Gathman, Ed Soltis, Delwin Deaver, Donald Lindgren, Joseph Berg and Francis Bruels. Thomas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Harold was born July 28, 1925 in Berthold to Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Brown and was reared here. During World War Il he served in the Merchant Marines aboard ship the Atlantic Theater. He had lived in Berthold most of his life, He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator, and at the time of his death was in the construction business with his brother. He is survived by his parents of Berthold; one son, Charles of Wahpeton; a daughter, Rebecca, of Los Angeles, Calif; two grandchildren; seven brothers, Ralph W. John S., James F., Joseph E., Harry C. Jr., and Maynard S., all of Berthold, and Darell C. of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Berg (Ruth) of Minot and Mrs. Merton Schultz (Jeanette) of Bagley; Minn. Stephen Zastoupil will officiate and burial will be in St. Leo's Cemetery, Minot. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 in St. Ann's Catholic Church.
