Description	:	Harold T. Anderson, 77, of Lodge Grass, passed away at his farm on Rotten Grass Creek Friday afternoon, August 16, 1991, of natural causes. He was born November 12, 1913, in Aberdeen, Washington, a son of Carl and Tekla Anderson. He was raised in Aberdeen, graduated from high school and later attended Grace Harbor Junior College. Harold married Gertrude A. Aalgaard in Billings on February 5, 1953. Harold moved from Washington state to Lodge Grass in 1936 and made his home on Rotten Grass Creek. Anderson, 77, of Lodge Grass, passed away at his farm on Rotten Grass Creek Friday afternoon, August 16, 1991, of natural causes. He was born November 12, 1913, in Aberdeen, Washington, a son of Carl and Tekla Anderson. He was raised in Aberdeen, graduated from high school and later attended Grace Harbor Junior College. Harold married Gertrude A. Aalgaard in Billings on February 5, 1953. Harold moved from Washington state to Lodge Grass in 1936 and made his home on Rotten Grass Creek. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree and later taught school from 1958-1959 in the Big Timber area, Rocky Boy from 1960-1961 and in Lodge Grass from 1962 until his retirement in 1978. While in Lodge Grass, he was a science teacher. When he was not teaching, he farmed on Rotten Grass and was a grain-land surveyor for several government farm programs. He spent many years as a Boy Scout leader in Lodge Grass and was a member of the Sheridan Eagles Lodge #186. Harold loved to fish, but especially loved to work on his farm Survivors include his wife, Gertrude of Lodge Grass; four daughters, Carole Roth, Beverly Watson, Billie Wilson and Karla Anderson, all of Lodge Grass; one sister, Agnes Standish of Lodge Grass; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry, in 1958. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel with Reverend Harvey Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Timber Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Published Big Timber Pioneer Aug 21, 1991
