Description	:	GREELEY — Harold Wondercheck, 65, of Greeley, formerly of Fullerton, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, as a result of a truck accident near St. Edward. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton. Pastor Linda Lambert will officiate. Burial will be in the Fullerton Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home of Fullerton is in charge of arrangements. Harold was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Palmer to Leonard and Louise (McCray) Wondercheck. He grew up in the Fullerton area and attended country school, graduating from Fullerton High School in 1966. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1974. On May 23, 1987, he married Rita McAfee at the First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton. To this union two children were born, a daughter, Heather, and son, Riley. They lived in Grand Island where he worked for NAPA as a route driver. Throughout his life he also worked at Supersweet and Monforts. For the past 18 years he worked as a route driver for Platte River Darling International By Products. In August of 1998, they moved to a farm north of Greeley to be in the rural area where he raised cattle and horses. He enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren, 2-year-old Leila and 5-month-old Owen. He also loved to go to livestock or community sales when he had the time. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 151 in Fullerton. Survivors include his wife, Rita of Greeley; a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jesse Anderson of St. Paul; a son, Riley of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Leila and Owen Anderson; his mother, Louise Wondercheck of Fullerton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Sharlene Wondercheck of Columbus and Wayne and Ev Wondercheck of Fullerton; a brother-in-law, Mike Gonsior of Fullerton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; his sister, Lana Gonsior; father and mother-in-law, Glen and Levonda McAfee.
