Mrs. Bohinc was born Oct. 3, 1937 at Arma, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Stella Pittser Anderson. Haroldean was a homemaker and also had worked at the Arma Care Center and Arma Drug Store. Mrs. Bohinc was born Oct. 3, 1937 at Arma, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Stella Pittser Anderson. Haroldean was a homemaker and also had worked at the Arma Care Center and Arma Drug Store. She was raised in Arma and graduated from the Arma High School in 1955. She has been a resident of Arma for most of her life. She married Jack Bohinc on July 14, 1955 at Girard, Kansas. Mr. Bohinc preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2002. She was a member of the Arma United Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors. Survivors include a brother, Bill J. (Genevieve) Anderson of Pittsburg, a stepsister, Elaine Mattivi of Frontenac, nephews, Barry (Shayne) Anderson, Mark (Theora) Anderson, Billy Anderson who helped provide for her care, and Jim (Shannon) Filosa, brother-in-law, David Bohinc of Corpus Christi, Texas, cousins, Shirley Kranker of Arma and Irene Bradshaw of St. Joseph, Missouri, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Betty Filosa. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with the Rev. Glenn Duderstadt officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the Bedene Chapel prior to the funeral services. Friends may also call 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bedene Chapel. The family suggests memorials to the Arma Health and Rehabilitation Activity Fund.
